This bottle carries the solitary sentinel of the rocky hills—the quiver tree, or Aloidendron dichotomum. Revered across the Northern Cape for its stark silhouette and golden winter blooms, the kokerboom gathers sweetness in an unforgiving climate, drawing life from ancient granite and wide, open sky.
That quiet generosity is the inspiration behind this vintage. Kokerboom is our semi-sweet white—aromatic, gentle, and softly rounded, offering a touch of golden richness against the heat of the day. Painted in ink and watercolour by our fourth-generation winemaker, the illustration captures the tree as it stands on the rocky ridges above the river: rooted deep, arms open, weathered yet thriving.
