Perched on the sun-baked granite boulders along our ridges, the bloukop koggelmander (blue-headed agama) spends the hottest hours of the day soaking up the sun, bobbing with bright, curious energy. Full of character and unapologetically bold, this little rock lizard never takes itself too seriously.
That same lighthearted spirit is why it became the hero of this bottle. Bloukop is our most easygoing, playful red—a semi-sweet vintage bursting with ripe fruit, soft edges, and pure enjoyment. Illustrated in ink and watercolour by our fourth-generation winemaker, the label captures the sunny, cheerful charm of the desert at ease.

Serve lightly chilled at 14–16 °C — twenty minutes in the fridge keeps the berry fruit lively. It needs no fuss beyond a few minutes in any good glass; this is a wine for pouring, not waiting.
